6/22 -- We are proud to announce that the American Slovak Club's Fish Dinner has been voted #1 by a poll of The Morning Journal readers for "the best fish and chips" in the area. As the long and cold spring season has developed into a hot and humid summer, you may want to think about getting away from your hot kitchen stove and trying out our fish dinners. We serve from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM every Friday and offer other menu items such as home-made stuffed cabbage, cabbage and noodles, chicken fingers and salads all prepared by the members of our Ladies Auxiliary. Our complete menu can be viewed on our website at americanslovakclub.com. We are located at the corner of 30th St. and Broadway Avenue in Lorain, Ohio. Come in and give our food a try. You will not be disappointed!
5/3 -- The American Slovak Club, 2915 Broadway in Lorain, Ohio, is very happy to announce that we are now accepting credit cards as a means of payment at our Friday Fish Fries. Several patrons have asked for this and we now have this form of payment as an option. Please feel free to try it out!
